Having lived in Englewood since she was 11 years old, Felicia Staton-Young has over 20 years of financial services industry experience and is the co-founder of the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce. She believes that in life, business, and love, you get as much as you put in and works tirelessly to help others in her community to succeed. She joined E.G. Woode because she loves the idea of working collectively with business owners and community members towards growing the economy of her community. She is inspired by the idea that a few people who love the community can positively impact the many in a way that is legal, ethical, and profitable.
As a vital partner in E.G. Woode and as Executive Director of the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce, she wants to see her organization become the foundation for how businesses define community. She hopes that the chamber exceeds its expectations by being a strong ally in business that supports their growth with collaborative marketing efforts, being a diligent advocate, and helping craft and shape policies that benefit small businesses and their owners. Through these efforts, she hopes to showcase those businesses to community members and those visiting the area, leading to growth for those businesses and in turn, for the community.
